Tulsa, OK Nov 2023 – In November Tulsa-based Bama Companies was featured nationally on NPR radio and print media for our efforts to help formerly incarcerated people begin not just a job, but a career. NPR Reporter, Elizabeth Caldwell visited Bama Companies Frozen Dough facility where she conducted an interview with Breeanna Jones, a formerly incarcerated woman. Jones, after being released from drug court began work at the Center For Employment Opportunities(CEO), a Tulsa-based non-profit helping people get back on their feet after incarceration.
