People helping people be successful

The Bama Companies, Global Food Supplier, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has named Tenille Brown its new US General Manager. As General Manager, her responsibilities include aligning Bama’s strategic direction with the Operations, Customers, Quality, People Systems, Supply Chain, and Engineering departments.

“Tenille has been such a big part of Bama’s success for so long. I couldn’t be happier for her to accept this new position, and can’t wait to work alongside her,” said Paula Marshall, CEO of Bama Companies.

Tenille joined Bama in 1999. She has held many titles throughout her time at Bama. Most recently, she spent many years leading Bama’s customer group, where her team was responsible for innovation, commercialization, sourcing and pricing, compliance, marketing insight, promotional management, and customer service.

Tenille received her Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Oklahoma and her MBA from the University of Tulsa.

Tenille utilizes W. Edward Deming’s System View approach for the long-term company and team member success. “I believe in the value of the team and each individual team member’s contribution to the success of this company,” said Brown, “I couldn’t be happier to accept this new role and help continue Bama’s eight decades of success.”
