Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade Tulsa OklahomaAn estimated 10,000 people braved the below freezing temperature to watch the 41st Annual Tulsa MLK Day Parade in downtown Tulsa. Organizers say that the Tulsa parade is one of the largest in the nation with many businesses, schools and organizations preparing floats representing this year’s theme; 2020 Vision.

At Bama, the secret ingredient to our success is really no secret at all. It’s our people. We have nearly 900 team members between our three Tulsa plants, and they never cease to amaze us with their pride and dedication, not only to their work; producing more than 2 million products per day for some of the largest food chains in the world, but also with their dedication to their community and the city of Tulsa, as well as the pride they put into everything they do.

Martin Luther King Jr. Parade Tulsa Oklahoma TrophyWe have lost track of exactly how many years that Bama team members have participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade, or how many they have put together a step team, or the numerous first and second place awards they have brought home, but even they will tell you that those awards are just icing on the cake, and they would participate and compete every year no matter the outcome, because this is one of the most special and celebratory days of the year.

Whatever the number, once again in 2020 our Bama Drill Team has brought home the first place prize! We are proud of each and every team member that helped and participated and put in a countless amount of time and effort in order to win this award.
